    How to Find Your Serial Number

    Your Amana serial number can typically be found on:

    • Inside the furnace cover (service panel) on a metal data plate
    • On the side or back of the outdoor condensing unit
    • Look for plates with AHRI Certified or ETL Intertek logos
    • On your original installation documentation

    Amana Serial Number Formats

    Style 1: 10-Digit Format

    Example: 0109145052 - First 2 digits = Year (01 = 2001), Next 2 digits = Month (09 = September)

    Style 2: Format with Dash (Older Units)

    Example: 96-90391 - First 2 digits = Year (96 = 1996). Month is not available in this format.

    Style 3: 9-Digit Format

    Example: 040590391 - First 2 digits = Year (04 = 2004), Next 2 digits = Month (05 = May)

    Note: Amana serial numbers are unique in that they use only numbers - no letters.
